Book Recommendations

I love choosing titles for our Media Center but if you have a request, I would be glad to check into purchasing it for our school.  Here is a form to fill out:  Book Recommendations. There is a process for approval of titles that can be added so not all titles will be automatically purchased for our school.  I look forward to exploring your recommendations!

About Mrs. Wilson, School Library Media Specialist:

This is my eighth year at Oakwood, formerly Northview, an IB World School.  I enjoy collaborating with teachers in our school on various projects, organizing our annual Comic Con, working with my awesome Battle of the Books team, and working on our School Improvement team.  I have a BS in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, Teaching License from UNC Charlotte, and a Master's in Library Science from Appalachian State University.  I am also a National Board Certified Teacher.   I enjoy reading (of course), hiking, canoeing or kayaking, crocheting, binge-watching Netflix, and spending time with my family.
